Private Workshops
Our Private Workshops are an alluring escape into the world of floral artistry. Julia, our expert floral designer, will be your guide on this creative journey. Your group will have the opportunity to explore your artistic talents, and connect with nature in a unique and immersive way.
With a carefully curated selection of plants, flowers, and natural elements provided by Superior Farms, Julia will lead you through the process of crafting your own botanical masterpiece. Whether you’re a seasoned florist or a complete novice, these workshops are designed for all levels of experience and are uniquely catered to each group. All participants take home their arrangements at the end to display as a reminder of the memories and beauty created together.
Games and Friendly Competitions
Enjoy some whimsical farmyard fun with your group that’s bound to spark laughter and some friendly competition.
- Cow Bale Roping:
Channel your inner cowboy or cowgirl and test your lasso skills with our Cow Bale Roping game. Will you be the quickest to rope in those elusive “cows”? - Hay Bale Bowling:
Launch a farm-friendly bowling ball down the lane and knock over the pins for a Superior hay bale strike! - Giant Jenga:

About Julia:
Julia Laird has over twenty years of experience in the floral industry, having owned and operated both retail and wholesale florist businesses in Vancouver. She finds great joy in consulting with clients to learn about their vision and inspiration, then partners with renowned local growers to make every client’s dream a reality. Julia joined the Superior Farms floral team in July 2022. Blending elements of Vancouver Island’s lush wilderness with exquisitely grown flowers from our partnering farms, Julia shares her talents at our workshops, special events, weddings, concerts, and more.

Wine Tasting
Add a touch of sophistication to your event with a wine tasting from one of Vancouver Island’s top-rated vineyards!
Our wine tasting package includes a selection of four thoughtfully chosen bottles, presented and poured by our knowledgeable Serving It Right certified staff. Learn about Vancouver Island wine practices and traditions, as our passionate wine enthusiast guides you through tasting notes and suggested pairings. Psssst… we recommend pairing our wine tasting with a charcuterie board add-on to experience full flavour!
Each tasting pours a generous 2 ounces of wine, inviting your guests to savor a total of 8 ounces of exceptional wine. In addition to the tasting, we also offer 5 ounce pours by the glass for $7 each.
Please keep in mind that the responsible enjoyment of wine is our top priority. Guests who consume more than the 8 ounces included in the tasting should ensure they have a designated driver or access to a cab or shuttle service. Your safety and well-being are paramount to us.

Venue Rentals
All bookings include access to our friendly miniature petting farm, as well as designated time to set up and clean up.
Private Workshops
Private workshops are offered to groups of 10 or more. Workshop participant fees include rental of our beautiful greenhouse venue.
